Right now I'm watching "How Do I Look?" and it has Alex, the fiancee of Super Size Me's Morgan getting a makeover. I love those kinds of shows ...
So I had a great weekend. Obviously, Friday was opening night at PGE Park - and my cousin visited me from Washington Saturday morning. We ran some errands, and then I took my friend out for her birthday.
We went to Bartini and had some awesome food!! You can check out the menu at http://www.urbanfondue.com. Definitely going back there again. For dessert, we had cheesecake, pound cake, cookie dough, marshmallows, strawberries and apricots ready for dipping in a warm pot of chocolate. I ordered rose-flavored soda and oh my goodness was it sweet. The service was really good and the ambiance was hip yet cozy.
On Sunday, my cousin and I went to City Bible's west campus. This was my first time going there for Sunday service and I'll definitely be back again. I went there for Gen Church once and also for Connections back in February.

So tonight was my first time ever going to PGE Park. It was soooo cool! I was in total awe. I was also cold as heck - I could barely sit through the 2nd & 3rd innings, so I left before the 4th inning began. It was okay - the Beavs were already up by 5 when I left. =) Anyhoo, here are some pics of PGE Park ... one day I'll have a better camera (for now, we're sticking w/my camera phone) to capture moments like this.

I'm back, tblog!! So, I kinda went to MSN Spaces for a while. I liked how easy it was to upload pictures and display lists, but I guess I stopped blogging there because I'm not HTML savvy enough to customize my page. Oh well! Anyway, SOOO much has happened - good and not so good. I'll focus on the good, because I believe everything that happens is a learning experience and an opportunity to grow.
And because the last few months have been such a fabulous time, I'll re-post my blogs from MSN Spaces here even though the dates/times will obviously be wrong. =)
I am so excited. I am SOOO excited! I am just happy right now. Nothing too big or small - I'm just really trying to chill and let God take control. Do you ever have days when you realize your self-esteem wasn't at its usual level, and all you wanted was some encouragement from the Lord? Well, He is truly faithful - when He says "Seek, and you shall find, ask and the answer will be given to you" He means just that. When you need encouragement, He's there to deliver - whether it's that indescribable peace that forms after a tear-filled conversation with the Lord or an article about God's faithfulness, He's always been there to lift me up.
Well, Sammy just came into the living room - I haven't seen Sammy in a couple days. If you've forgotten who Sammy is, well, he's my snowshoe cat. I absolutely LOVE Sammy! He's my little friend. Sadly, he doesn't like to be picked up very much - so I'm limited in my affections towards him. Right now he's ignoring me - but that's okay, I'm going to sneak up behind him and give him a big hug! Ta ta ...
